Completed as a capstone branding project at Vancouver Film School, CampusPal is a conceptual student support organization designed for Canadian university and college campuses. Reflecting on the common struggles of post-secondary life, I developed the brand identity and promotional materials from scratch to address the isolation and academic anxiety that often burden first- and second-year students.
The Concept: a Sustainable Mentorship Model
At the heart of CampusPal is a self-sustaining peer-mentorship cycle:
The Community: Incoming first- and second-year students are paired with experienced third- and fourth-year mentors.
The Cycle of Giving Back: Mentors are recruited from upper-year students who were themselves mentees in their junior years, fostering empathy, continuity, and an authentic culture of mutual support.
Brand Mission & Beyond Academics
While CampusPal offers practical guidance—such as study strategies, course planning, and honest professor reviews—its deeper mission goes beyond information sharing. The brand was built around emotional wellness and connection, aiming to provide a reliable, friendly community so students can navigate their pivotal early years with confidence, belonging, and fewer breakdowns.
